Welcome to the Resource Base- The Meadow
A big welcome to our class page. I am really looking forward to seeing you all and all of the exciting learning we will experience together.
In The Meadow, we love to explore, discuss and get creative with our learning! We enjoy outdoor learning and will be engaging in welly days on a regular basis, exploring our outdoor environment and taking part in forest school activities.
Our topic this term is ‘All about me’. We will be exploring what it means to be unique and celebrating what makes us different. The children will be invited to bring in something from home that is special to them to share with the class. We will work on our speaking and listening skills, as well as some writing around what makes us unique. Through each topic, the aim is to teach all children life skills and offer hands on experiences in order to increase their independence as they become older. Topics are planned around the interests of the children to ensure full engagement throughout. Interesting trips and visitors into school will be planned to link in with our current topic and to allow the children to engage with a range of different learning experiences.
Seesaw will be our main point of communication and regular updates, achievements and photographs will be shared here. Please check the page regularly in order to keep up to date with any communications. I would also love to hear about all the amazing things you get up to at home so please share these with me on Seesaw!
